The singer Fantasia Barrino has just given birth to a baby boy. Yesterday, at approximately 1:30 pm EST, the singer was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. The original due date for the child was December 29, but it came two weeks early.
The child’s father is believed to be Antwan Cook, who was married at the time of the affair. Fantasia first achieved success as the winner of the third season of American Idol back in 2004. Since that time, her career has seen numerous ups and downs, including a moment when she attempted suicide last year.
