Nia Long Gives Birth to Baby Boy!

It’s official. Actress Nia Long has given birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles, her rep, Priscilla Moralez, has confirmed.

The child, her second, has been named Kez Sunday Udoka. This is Long’s first child with Ime Udoka, 33, of the San Antonio Spurs. Her first child, Massai, Jr. is from a previous relationship.

Long’s credits include the films Soul Food, Love Jones and Big Momma’s House.

Long recently appeared on the cover of Ebony Magazine, 9 months pregnant and had this to say about motherhood:

“The medical profession tries to tell every woman, ‘Have your babies before 40…’ Society tells us ‘Get married before 30…’ I think if we just take our time as women, and do what comes natural to us and for us, we would make fewer mistakes.”
